Originally broadcast as a five-part series for BBC Two Northern Ireland, which premiered on Thursday 13 March 2014.
Fables retold or written by Scottish poet Robert Henryson translated into Modern English by Seamus Heaney. Three fables are retellings of Aesop's fables and two are original tales based on Reynard, a fox character in Northwest European literature.
