Overtime

Chelios, Chris (Author). Allen, Kevin, 1956- (Added Author).

Defenseman Christos Kostas Tselios, better known as Chris Chelios, played for the Montreal Canadiens, Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings and Atlanta Thrashers. Feared on the ice for his toughness and his skill with the puck, Chris Chelios was one of the finest defencemen of his era. Chelios roamed the ice with a rare confidence that earned him the respect of his teammates and opponents alike. Off the ice, Chelios was well known for his antics too. He carried his high level of competitiveness out of the dressing room and wore it like a badge of honour. Chris Chelios recalls his on-ice heroics and off-ice adventures with teammates such as Steve Yzerman, Bob Probert, Jeremy Roenick and a host of other all-time greats. Born in Illinois, Chris Chelios had his first hockey success playing for Junior B teams in Canada. Currently the executive advisor for the Red Wings, Chelios lives near Detroit, Michigan"
