Historian Jean Sheridan attends her twenty year reunion for Stonecroft Academy in Cornwall-on-Hudson, New York. One of her fellow honorees has died recently and Jean herself feels threatened by an anonymous note concerning her past. What Jean does not know is that she is on the hit list of The Owl, a murderer bent on revenge against the Stonecroft women who taunted him in the past.
