Ataataga
Throat singer, guitarist, accordion player, songwriter Riit is an exciting new voice in music: raised in Pangnirtung, Nunavut. Riit's sound is a mix of club-ready electro-pop alongside hushed, exquisite ballads, with layers of throat singing intertwined with dark, wobbly ominous synths. Riit also performed live on the JUNO Award broadcast with The Jerry Cans in 2018. Her debut full-length album, produced by Graham Walsh, was released in 2019 on Six Shooter Records.
