Each book includes an introduction and instructions for twenty simple crafts related to holidays or other seasonal occurrences such as changing leaves and snowfall. Most of the materials are easily obtained and the illustrations support the directions. A few of the projects require such fine motor skills (forming a twist tie into a heart shape, for example) that younger crafters may be frustrated. K-Gr 3-Ross presents 20 seasonal projects made from easily obtainable craft materials and household items. Each activity is presented on a spread featuring step-by-step illustrated boxes and a drawing of the completed item. Instructions are clearly written and correspond with each illustration. The watercolor art is serviceable but not outstanding. The range of crafts includes decorations for Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, winter, Lincoln's Birthday, and Valentine's Day.
