Gideon Crew teams up with Eli Glinn and his mysterious company which is launching an expedition to the South Atlantic to explore the wreck of the huge vessel Rolvaag, lying at the frigid, hostile "Ice Limit" off the Antarctic coastline. The expedition's secret purpose: to find out what really happened to the ship - and the bizarre meteorite contained in its hold that contributed to the vessel's destruction. But as they explore the site, they realize the Rolvaag's fate was far stranger than anyone imagined.
