The village druid, Panoramix, gets a most unusual request for help from an old friend and fellow druid in a dream . Panoramix enlists the aid of his friends, Asterix and Obelix and sets out on their strangest adventure yet! It all leads up to a dangerour quest where our heroes are trying to stop the Romans from finding and capturing a mythological creature with the body of a lion and the head and wings of an eagle -- the Griffin!
