Inspector Ricardo Ramirez is investigating the death of a prostitute in Havana with nylons wrapped around her neck. Meanwhile another woman's body is discovered in a similar condition on a First Nation reserve in Ontario. Before long, both detectives find themselves chasing a killer whose reach extends further than they could have imagined.
