To save her beautiful sister from certain death, she is taken by Lo-Melkhiin to his dangerous court. While she believes her death in inevitable, she spends night after night of telling Lo-Melkhiin stories only to find out that he was not always a cruel ruler, but that something went wrong. When she continues to survive, she dreams of more terrible magic, power enough to save a king, if she can put an end to rule of a monster.
