Season of storms

In the early 1900s, actress Celia Sands, the inspiration and star of Italian playwright Galeazzo D'Ascanio's most stunning and original play, disappeared the night before the play was to open. Now, decades later, Alessandro D'Ascanio is preparing to finally stage his grandfather's masterpiece and has asked a struggling young English actress, Celia Sands, to perform the lead. Celia is hesitant to take the role, since it appears that she is only wanted because she shares the name of the play's original star, but she eventually agrees and soon finds herself drawn into the mysteries surrounding the play.
