Annika Bengtzon, recent journalism graduate, secured a temporary position at one of Sweden's most successful tabloid newspapers. Being bullied by the her cut-throat coworkers, Annika longed for her big break, which came with the discovery of a young woman's raped and strangled body found at a nearby cemetery. As she pieces together various facts of the woman's life, she comes across evidence that suggests the police are after the wrong man, and falls so deep into the case that it just might put her own life in danger.
