After Molly Murphy asks her beau Daniel Sullivan to join her detective agency, they stumble upon a young woman lying unconscious in snow-covered Central Park. The woman wakes up disoriented and without the ability to speak, and Molly decides to take on the case before the authorities send the woman to an insane asylum.
