Superman, the movie: Unable to convince the ruling council of Krypton that their world will destroy itself soon, scientist Jor-El takes drastic measures to preserve the Kryptonian race. He sends his infant son Kal-El to Earth. Raised by an elderly farmer and his wife, the Kents, they teach Clark that his abilities must be used for good. As an adult, Clark moves to Metropolis, where he becomes a mild-mannered reporter for the Daily Planet. He also turns into Superman who possesses super-powers and saves the innocent from the evil doings of criminals. Meanwhile, Lex Luthor, the world's greatest criminal mind, is plotting the greatest real estate swindle of all time. Now Superman must stop the nefarious scheme.Superman II: Unwittingly released from Phantom Zone imprisonment, three super-powered Planet Krypton criminals plan to enslave Earth. At the same time, Superman decides to show a more romantic side of himself to Lois Lane.
