Art Frankel is a small-time drug dealer with Cody Wesson. When she falls into a coma from an overdose, Art will do anything to save her. He seeks aid from his friend Harvey - and a time machine. Art embarks on a quest through time. After several humiliating attempts to figure out where things went wrong, it slowly begins to dawn on Art that the real problem in Cody's life may be him. What ensues is increasingly reckless attempts to avoid surrendering his love for Cody in exchange for her life.
