Fourteen-year-old Cosmo Hill is abandoned by his parents and sent to live at Clarissa Frayne Institute for Parentally Challenged Boys, where he is forced to work testing dangerous products. He escapes when he joins up with a group of kids who share his power to see supernatural parasites. Together they patrol the city hunting the Parasites and trying to save what is left of humanity in Satellite City.
