Deciding she needs more independence, Elizabeth moves out of her friend Abigail2s home and into a new home of her own. While Jack is proud of Elizabeth's sense of independence, he is also conflicted as he had bought land in hopes of building a house for both of them. Abigail has concerns of her own, as problems arise with the orphan boy she took in. In addition, the entire town is shocked to learn that their new pastor has a criminal past.
